As a testimony to the dedication and loyalty of Lapp Insulators LeRoy employees, the majority of our workforce has been with the company for a substantial number of years, some for several decades.
To recognize this, company President Geoff Buell began a monthly event where he meets with those celebrating work anniversaries during that month for an open forum lunch, “Pizza with the President.” In some months, attendance is relatively small, while others have 10+ employees who are all encouraged to share suggestions for improvement and honest feedback regarding operations.
As a major manufacturing company in Genesee County, NY, with more than 115 successful years of production, continuous improvement is a key part of the legendary Lapp Insulators culture. Monthly lunch attendees have found this time with Geoff Buell valuable, and we look forward to continuing!
