Start your training
We primarily train our junior staff ourselves – and are therefore looking for committed young people every year who want to complete their training at LAPP Insulators.
The LAPP Insulators Group offers young people a secure apprenticeship with future prospects and opportunities for further development within the company – also in an international context. The professional training is supported by collegial employees with many years of experience and mature know-how in their specialist field. Our company is known for its great staff continuity – in many cases it is possible to be taken on after your apprenticeship. So you can start your career straight after your apprenticeship!

We supervise your thesis
Our team is also happy to supervise final theses by Bachelor’s and Master’s students.
In close cooperation with your chair and the lecturer, the task is filled with valuable content and processed. With our many years of practical experience and the wealth of knowledge of our engineers, we will support you in your final examination.
The LAPP Insulators Group has its own testing laboratory at each location for the quality control of its products. The central, innovative research work takes place at the company headquarters in Wunsiedel. Here we offer professional supervision for final theses.
We also welcome business administration students.
Get to know us through internships
The choice of options for your future career is large and varied. Therefore, nothing is more important than being well informed right from the start – both about the activities that await you in the various professions and about the company.
LAPP Insulators is looking forward to getting to know young people, showing them opportunities and prospects and getting them excited about high-performance ceramics. We therefore offer specialist and training-oriented internships – naturally tailored to your respective school background.
Students of business administration, electrical engineering, high-voltage test engineering, insulation materials as well as FEM and BEM simulation and calculation are always welcome. Internships for students are generally possible for a period of up to six months at the company headquarters in Wunsiedel, but can also be arranged for a different duration. Our engineers will provide you with fundamental insights into practical implementation and empirical research in high-voltage technology.
Pupils are welcome to complete a taster internship with us, which can be carried out over a short period of one to six weeks in the following professions:

- Industrial mechanic (f/m/d)
- Industrial clerk (f/m/d)
- IT clerk (f/m/d)
- Electronics technician (f/m/d)
- Technical product designer (f/m/d)
